Piero Fornasetti was a workaholic. He lived most of his life in Milan. This year is his 100. birthday. He worked as a painter, sculptor, draftsman, copper engraver, lithographer, furniture- and product designer, graphic artist, interior designer and book illustrator. He created more than 11000 items, many featuring a face of a woman, operatic soprano Lina Cavalieri, as a motif.
